Joyce, the future kindergarten teacher, has a way with kids. She made use of paper folding crafts to interact with children in Mindanao. With a heart origami at hand, each child was asked to write down his dream or words of blessing on the heart and stick on the paper tree. Joyce said, “As simple as this, it recalled the children lots of happy moments. They were so keen on paper-folding and lost themselves in the game” As simple task as this, it was used repeatedly to bless children in churches, schools and Muslim villages throughout the STM!
