Although Short-Term Mission was conducted online this year, a 2 days 1 night boot camp was still launched under epidemic situation and Hong Kong government ordinance. In the grace of the Lord, the eleven Short-Term Mission teams were very excited and cherished the opportunities of team building in the camp.
Seventy-five Short-Term Mission fighters gathered in the camp in a refreshing morning for readiness of heart and mind of missionary by fantastic and motivational adventure games. Stephanie, a member of the Bangladesh team, who is elected by all participants as the representative wearing a bubble football representing protection and courage from God in order to break through the wooden brick wall representing the frame of conservative thought. We all believed that simplicity in response to the calling of the Lord is always the key of sustainability and well collaboration of a mission team.
In the "Mission Night", Pastor Paul Ma, coordinator of CCN, preached 2 Corinthians with the message that it is only the love of Christ that inspires us to bring blessings to others, without any other reason, just because of the love of Christ. Even though, facing difficulties which being taken to places of not willing to go or being in any kind of suffering, we shall not shrink back from God's calling which is no matter being as a missionary or being as a faithful proclaiming disciple of Jesus in the ministry. We all are indispensable members of this missionary movement.
After the well equipping of 2 days 1 night boot camp, all participants are ready to be sent to serve the mission fields.
