The outbreak of COVID-19 has led many churches running into uncontrollable chaos as they are not allowed to have services. But our cell leaders subsequently learnt to use online tools to meet their cell members. Some cell groups even initiated actions to serve the community, e.g. making hand sanitizers. Lawerence contrasts the baptist church as a big ship. He hopes that more boats could be sent by the big ship and those boats are like discipleship. They could be more flexible to bring changes.
Lawrence shares that “It seems that God is sending a message to the church. In the era that everyone is addicted to phone, the church has to prepare facing a new form and this pandemic is obviously helping the church to build the new form.
