STM2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic, but we can still do something creatively to support the mission movement!
Key (left) and Kenny (right) from SCC, who had already signed up for STM2020, felt a bit disappointed when receiving the cancellation notice. However, they quickly adjusted their mind, and decided to bless the mission fields by initiating charity sale of handmade massage essential oil and solid perfume balms. Key got much support from her friends, and to her surprise, she got chances to catch up with some old friends and shared about the needs of the mission field. Key is so thankful that one of her cell group members keened to drive her so that she was able to deliver the massage oil in person, which is a heart-warming action during this outbreak.
Key said that we must continue to be flexible and sensitive to God’s leadership in prayer, and not to be discouraged by current situation. Let’s keep using our skills to bless our neighbors. Kenny used bible quote “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” to encourage us, when a door is closed, God will open a window for you. The more obstacles and challenges, the more you can witness the power of God! Don’t look down on yourself, you can still take part in the mission movement even in Hong Kong!
